Bravo : जागतिक तिरंदाजीत भारतीयांनी गाजवला दिवस, एका दिवशी तीन 'सुवर्ण'सह जिंकली पाच पदकं!

World Archery Youth Championships पोलंड येथे सुरू असलेल्या जागितक युवा अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धेत भारताच्या तिरंदाजांनी वर्चस्व गाजवले.

पोलंड येथे सुरू असलेल्या जागितक युवा अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धेत भारताच्या तिरंदाजांनी वर्चस्व गाजवले. शनिवारी भारतानं तीन सुवर्ण, १ रौप्य व १ कांस्य अशा पाच पदकांची कमाई केली. भारताच्या प्रिया गुर्जर, परनीत कौर आणि रिधु सेंथीलकुमार यांनी १८ वर्षांखालील कम्पाऊंड कॅडेट महिला संघाच्या अंतिम सामन्यात कमालीचे सातत्य राखत २२८-२१६ ने तुर्कीला हरवले. आजच्या दिवसातील भारताचे हे पहिले पदक ठरले आणि त्यानंतर एकापाठोपाठ एक अशी चार पदकं जिंकली.

भारताच्या पुरुष कॅडेट संघानेही अमेरिकेला २३३-२३१ असे नमवून आणखी एक सुवर्ण नावावर केलं. या टीममध्ये साहिल चौधरी, मिहीर नितीन आणि कुशल दलाल यांचा सहभाग होता. ( Indian men Cadet team of Sahil Chaudhary, Mihir Nitin and Kushal Dalal won Gold medal as they beat USA by 233-231 in compound cadet Final)

कॅडेट मिश्र गटातही भारताच्या नावावर सुवर्णपदक राहिले. कुशल दलाल व प्रिया गुर्जार यांनी अमेरिकेवर १५५-१५२ असा विजय मिळवला.

परनीत कौरनं महिला कम्पाऊंड कॅडेट गटातील कांस्यपदकाच्या लढतीत ब्रिटनच्या खेळाडूवर १४०-१३५ असा विजय मिळवून भारताच्या खात्यात आणखी एक पदक जमा केले. प्रिया गुर्जर हिला सुवर्णपदकाच्या सामन्यात मॅक्सिकन खेळाडूकडून १३६-१३९ असा पराभव पत्करावा लागल्यानं रौप्यपदकावर समाधान मानावे लागले
