AMC detects 39 COVID patients on Friday
Aurangabad, Nov 27:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 337 antigen and 873 RT-PCR tests (total 1210 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 39 Covid-19 patients today.
The health teams conducted 150 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 14 Covid-19 patients (including two hailing from areas out of AMC limits). The AMC personnel also held 170 RT-PCR tests.
Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 135 antigen tests and detected 20 Covid-19 patients (including three hailing from areas out of AMC limits), apart from 590 RT-PCR tests on suspects.
According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 24 RT-PCR tests, DCH conducted nine RT-PCR tests and 80 RT-PCR tests were done by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 52 antigen tests and found five Covid-19 patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
