Aurangabad, Nov 27:

The administrator of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) A K Pandey has threatened of filing police case, if any marriage function, is organised without the permission of zonal office as well as the police station concern.

The preventive measure is being taken in connection with the second wave of Coronavirus. Two days ago, the administrator in the meeting with all function hall-owners had warned them of action if they do not restrict the limit of guests. Today, he issued a fresh order which will be implemented from December 1. The order continues the ban on private and public functions. As per the orders, the citizens will now have to produce two permissions and also ensure that there are only 50 guests and also they should be wearing face masks during marriage function. Usage of sanitiser and physical distance has also been made compulsory at the venue.

Pandey through order also clarified that if any of the 50 guests is found without mask then the AMC squad will collect fine of Rs 500 for the first time, but if held without a mask for the second time then the hall would be sealed for seven days. Things even not improved and if anybody is again detected without the mask in the hall then directly the AMC would file a police case against the owner. Meanwhile, the zone officers have been alerted to keep an eye on the developments in their respective jurisdiction through squads.
