Aurangabad, Nov 27:
The anti-corruption bureau arrested computer operator Satish Ramnath Giram for accepting a bribe of Rs 18,000 red-handed at Limbejalgaon in Gangapur tehsil for correcting 8A extract of a land. The bureau laid a trap to arrest Giram near a hotel near Waluj Police Station on Thursday evening.
Giram has demanded Rs 21,000 to the complainant Shaikh Suleman Shaikh (46) to make correction in the property no. 953 and 954 at Waluj and 8A extract. After negotiation, it was decided to pay Rs 18,000. However, the complainant lodged at complaint the anti-corruption bureau and a trap was laid to arrest Giram red-handed. A case has been registered at the Waluj police station. The action was executed under the guidance of ACP Rahul Khade, additional superintendent Anita Jamadar, deputy superintendent B V Gawade by PI Sandeep Rajput, Sunil Patil, Arun Ugale, Ravindra Ambekar, Keval Gisinge Bagal and others.
